POLICIES
RESIDENTIAL TRASH DO'S & DON'TS
- Weekly Service – all trash must be bagged and placed inside your company issued PWS container (no personal containers will be serviced)
- Add second cart to acct
- Bags placed outside the container, will incur a $2.50 fee per bag. (picture will be taken)
- All boxes must be broken down and will incur a $1 fee per box. If trash is inside the box, it will incur a $2.50 fee per box. (pictures will be taken)
- Backdoor Customers –trash containers must be visible from the street (i.e., front or side of home)
- Curbside Customers –trash containers must be placed curbside the night before your service day no later than 6am on the day of service.
- Bulk Service – available for an additional fee and must be paid upfront via credit card. Contact our office for further details.
BILLING & FEES
- Accounts will be invoiced monthly or quarterly (Every 30 days or Every 90 days)
- Payment is due on the 1st day of each month or each quarter
- After the 5th day, a $10 late fee will incur.
- If payment is not made, PWS ONLY allow a two pickup grace period before service is interrupted; therefore, customers risk the container being removed due to nonpayment.
- Account reinstatement –must pay past due + reinstatement fee + 1 month in advance.
- NO proration policy –all customers will be responsible for the full monthly fee if you do not cancel before the start of the next service cycle. NO refunds will be issued.
- Extra pickup – $25 per return pickup
- Credit Card – 3% processing fee.
- ACH payments online – no processing fee.
- Returned Check or Rejected/Returned ACH payments online – There will be a $35 fee for all rejected or returned paper checks or ACH payments made online.
- Debit Card – no processing fee
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AS HOUSEHOLD TRASH
Oil, gasoline cans, all paint cans, kerosene cans, all flammable items, hazardous materials, tires, furniture, human or animal feces, animal carcasses, tree limbs, yard waste, etc.
