RESIDENTIAL TRASH SERVICE: DO'S & DON'TS

Weekly Trash Collection

  • All household trash must be bagged and placed inside your PWS-issued container. Personal containers will not be serviced. 
  • Need an additional cart? Please contact our office to request an extra container. 
  • Loose bags placed outside or on top of the container will incur a $2.50 fee per bag
  • All boxes must be broken down prior to pick-up and will incur a $1.00 fee per box
  • Large TV boxes will incur a $4.00 fee per box
  • Boxes containing trash will incur a $2.50 fee per box
  • Large yard waste bags will incur a $4.00 fee each.

Photo documentation will be taken for billing purposes.

Service Guidelines

  • Backdoor Customers: Trash containers must be visible from the street (front or side of the home).
  • Curbside Customers: Trash containers must be placed curbside the night before your service day and no later than 4:45 AM on the day of service.

Bulk Trash Collection

  • Available for an additional fee. Payment must be made upfront via debit card, ACH, or credit card. Please contact our office regarding pricing and scheduling.

Billing & Fees

BILLING & FEES

  • Accounts are invoiced monthly (every 30 days) or quarterly (every 90 days).
  • Payments are due on the 1st day of each billing cycle.
  • A $10 late fee will be applied after the 5th day of nonpayment.
  • Customers are granted a two-pickup grace period before service is interrupted. If payment is not received, the container may be removed due to nonpayment.

Account Reinstatement

To restore service, customers must pay:
Any past-due balance
A reinstatement fee
One month of service in advance

Additional Fees

  • Extra Pickup Fee: $25 per unscheduled return pickup
  • No Proration Policy: Customers are responsible for the full monthly fee unless canceled before the next service cycle (no refunds).
  • Credit Card – 3% processing fee.
  • ACH payments online – no processing fee.
  • Debit Card – no processing fee
  • Returned Check or Rejected/Returned ACH payments online – There will be a $35 fee for all rejected or returned paper checks or ACH payments made online.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AS HOUSEHOLD TRASH

The following items will not be collected:
🚫Oil, gasoline cans, kerosene cans, all paint cans
🚫Flammable or hazardous materials
🚫Tires, furniture
🚫Human or animal feces, animal carcasses
🚫Tree limbs, yard waste
